Frequently Asked Questions

You have questions, we have answers. Here are some of the common ones new counselors have.

  1. How do I get new clients?
At PSERC, we get you quality appointments! As a trusted advisor, you will have meetings with potential clients scheduled right to your calendar. Then, you just do what you do best: provide value and close new business. Need additional sales resources? We have you covered! Visit our blog and resources for more sales tips and insights.

  2. How do I provide a pension review?
As a new PSERC Counselor, your training will include an overview of how we deliver pension reviews with a step-by-step checklist. While we have a quality we expect to be maintained, we encourage you to personalize the process for you and the client.

  3. Why can’t I close new business?
If after several qualified appointments you haven’t been able to close new business, you may just need more sales training. We highly recommend the following sales courses if you are looking to develop your skill of selling. If you think the reason you aren’t closing new business is something else, let us know here.

  4. How do lead credits work?
So long as you are purchasing appointments every week, we’ll replace up to 2 appointments every week.

  5. How do I get my leads scheduled on my calendar?
You don’t! We do. Appointments are automatically scheduled to your calendar without you having to lift a finger.

  6. How are the appointments conducted?
All appointments are conducted through video conferencing unless you elect to meet with local prospects in person. As a PSERC Counselor, we encourage you use Zoom Meetings or Google Meet to host your appointments.

  7. What technology and skills are needed to represent PSERC as a counselor?
We value and expect the utmost professionalism of our representatives. These are online video appointments. Therefore, you will be required to have a computer or tablet, reliable high-speed internet, Zoom or Google Meet capability, ring light if you do not have good lighting in your office, quality sound, and professional background.
